It was built in 1923 and was a financial facility operated by the Japanese colonial rule. It appeared in Chae Man-sik's [Takryu], and even after liberation, it was used as a bank building such as the Bank of Korea and Hanil Bank. Today, it is a modern architecture museum that exhibits modern architecture, Japanese colonial currency, and historical relics .
