Meadow Photo Studio is the filming location of the movie "August Christmas", which was released in January 1998. The film depicts a process in which a photographer Jung Won (Han Seok-gyu), a photographer in her mid-30s suffering from an incurable disease, meets Darim (Shim Eun-ha), a parking control officer, and finally weaves the memories of love.

Christmas crew in August decided to exclude the set shooting and looked in photo studios across the country, but couldn't find a suitable place. Then, outside the window of the cafe where I went to rest for a while, I found a garage covered with the shadow of a tree on a summer day and asked the owner for permission...

The name "Chowon Photo Studio" was coined by the leading actor Han Seok-gyu, and it is said to be the name of the local photo studio where he lived when he was a child. Most of the filming, such as the garden house and elementary school, took place near this grassland photo studio. After the filming was over, the grassland photo studio was demolished as promised by the owner, and then restored so that tourists can view and take pictures in Gunsan City.

Episode 1
For the first time, many people came to this place thinking that a new photo studio had been opened. Some of the people who take family pictures in the play are actually visitors, not extras.

Episode 2
Snow is needed for the Christmas scene, and the filming time was at the end of November. The production crew laid cotton around the photo studio and sprinkled with salt to make it look like it was snowing. After the filming, the local aunts decided to collect it and use it for kimchi, so the production team could save the trouble of cleaning.
