Gyeongam-dong Railroad Village was constructed in Gyeongam-dong, Gunsan-si, Jeollabuk-do in 1944, and was named after the entire 2.5km railroad line connecting the Paper Korea factory and Gunsan Station.

The name originated from the name of the administrative district in which the village was located, and the village formed around the railway was called Gyeongam-dong Railway Village.

In 1944, people began to gather around the railway, which was opened during the Japanese colonial rule, forming a neighborhood, and in the 1970s, a village was originally formed. The Gyeongam-dong railroad was first opened in 1944 during the Japanese occupation to carry newsprint materials. It was called “North Line Paper Railroad” until the mid-1950s, and it was called “Koryo Paper Paper Railway” until the early 1970s, and then it is called “Sejong Paper Line” or “Sepoong Railway”. Is called “Paper Korea Line”.

As of 2013, there are about fifty houses gathered in the Gyeongam-dong Railway Village, but there are more vacant houses. There are about fifteen households living in it. The railroad is also currently not operating. Most of the buildings in the railroad village were built in the late 1970s to early 1980s, and the walls are mostly painted in pastel shades of blue, purple, and yellow. Doors are made of various shapes, such as doors made of aluminum, doors made of planks, and doors made of tin plate. Buildings are standing side by side on both sides of the alley, and the building on the right and the building on the left are clearly distinguished by their appearance. The buildings on the right have many two-story structures, and the buildings on the left are mainly used as toilets or warehouses.
